Hi! I’m Leah. 👋
Why am I publishing this note about me? Mainly so that my ![[folder.svg|13]] **03.02 People** folder shows up on Obsidian Publish, so I can better show off my system and processes. All other people notes are private by default.
## Uses for a person-based note
I mainly use a ![[00 Meta/03 Resources/03.03 Attachments/file.svg|13]] **03.02 People note** in my ![[00 Meta/03 Resources/03.03 Attachments/file.svg|13]] **02.01 Daily Notes**. If I’m having a meeting with someone, I add them to my schedule, so that I can see all of the related days and meeting notes via backlinks.) It's also a way I can have an easy way to track gift ideas through the year for those I'm close with, or just things I want to make sure I remmeber.
This is generated with a template (using [[Templater]]), as well as a [[Shortcuts|Shortcut]] to link to my address book.
Some have turned their Obsidian vault into a full contact manager, but I’d prefer to keep relevant details in my personal address book. I’m a big advocate for [[Using the right tool for the job]].
