I'm so confused by this campaign.) ## Notes - [[Yimmon Tsari]] is actually over near [[Bloomridge]], not [[Brampton]]. - We retcon this by having [[Ledger]] come running out to point us in the right direction. - Much more colourful area compared to the lower districts. - We stop and ask for directions from a man in fur pelts. Look for colourful, strange "poisonous" creature. - We spot a tall blue-skinned elf with white hair ([[Yimmon Tsari]]) at a stall - Lots of well-made goblets, but not bejewelled. Engraved. - Hasn't seen [[Thomas]] in several years, met Thomas — he had helped him and now he gets discounts. - Kass re: his accent - It's more from a region with dessert attire - (Similar to the red wizards, but I called myself out for not knowing it since I didn't hear [[Azbara Jos]] speak) - We follow [[Yimmon Tsari]] to [[See Through For You]] - Small little shop with a garden out of the front (lillies) - Inside of the shop, a glassblower's shop - [[Yimmon Tsari]] heads back to his stall - The shop is completely empty - Astrid gets Freya to wake up and stand up - Gomash can smell some herb like a scented candle - An older elf comes out into the main room. Fine clothes, high collar suit. Half-plate under his clothes. - It's… someone else. Not Yimmon. - Assumes we travelled with [[Ferias]]. Have worked together. - Has talked with others who are looking into this place… - We can call him [[Grey|Grey]] for the time being. - What he's been smelling is from his pipe… [[Grey|Grey]] sits down and smokes. - [[Grey|Grey]] has been looking into the [[Cult of the Dragon]]. - Cult members who are already here in [[Baldur's Gate]], assumably working as guards. - The new recruits are easier to squeeze. - Cult members may also be acting as guards for caravans. - Higher up members may leave early, ahead of the caravans. - [[Grey|Grey]] is looking into other allies that may help in this endeavor. - Suggests we don't bust the cultists right now, but follow the caravan to their hideout. - Astrid volunteers that we'll get more information about the black dragonborn-like person around (i.e. [[Odonth Darkwrath]]) and can follow up with more information. - [[Evan Starhold]] and [[Tiana Starhold]] are currently with the [[Flaming Fist]], will be in the area in about three hours - We decide to go find [[60 Games/62 Campaigns/2022-09 Hoard of the Dragon Queen/05 NPCs/Freya|Freya]] and will come back in about three hours. - Kass buys a diamond worth 300 gp; Gomash chips in 60 gp - [[60 Games/62 Campaigns/2022-09 Hoard of the Dragon Queen/05 NPCs/Freya|Freya]] is having tea at a little tea shop ([[Teasci]]). She's watching cats watch birds. - We sit down for tea and biscuits. - Freya had been at the [[Cult camp outside of Greenest]] to look into the [[Cult of the Dragon]] activity, and the mercenaries. She acquires stolen goods - There was things stolen from [[Baldur's Gate]], from one of the more noble families. But she needs to get into the upper city. - Kassandra suggests we may be accquiring some new allies that could help get us into the upper city. - [[60 Games/62 Campaigns/2022-09 Hoard of the Dragon Queen/05 NPCs/Freya|Freya]] has also be contracted to find some other objects related to the group as well… - We may be able to help each other out with this… - "Mother" ([[60 Games/62 Campaigns/2022-09 Hoard of the Dragon Queen/05 NPCs/Freya|Freya]], [[Treya Oakhallow]], [[Faust Huxley]]) is interested in the [[Cult of the Dragon]] - Astrid gets some tea from her. - We wander around [[Bloomridge]] while Astrid looks for snowglobes and trinkets. We have an hour to kill before trying to find the Starholds… - Kass is watching, worried they are being watched: people watch us since we stand out ([[Langdedrosa Cyanwrath]], and Astrid is tall), but no one is specifically following us from what she can tell. - We spot two [[Flaming Fist|Flaming Fists]], [[Evan Starhold]] and [[Tiana Starhold]] - Lenore blurts out that Kassandra used to look out to her older sister for protection when she was scared of the scarecrow outside her window, and that she's trying to do the same for her now… - Insight check: [[Evan Starhold]] seems truthful, but [[Tiana Starhold]] seems like she doesn't fully believe me. - We're going to meet them at [[Teasci]] in two hours, so have some more time to kill. (So we're going to meet [[D(emu)|D(emu)'s]] new character.) - [[jethoof]] fell asleep. Again. - And then tried to say he wasn't at the end of the session… despite being non-responsive on both voice and text… - Introducing [[D(emu)|D(emu)'s]] new PC: [[Enzo]] - A fancy-dressed lad in a suit, tie, and hat. Some jewelry. Has a rapier and dagger, holster with a hidden weapon. - From [[Baldur's Gate]]. - Walks straight up to the party as we're walking around [[Bloomridge]], since they had a decsription of the party. - Has been sent by [[Ontharr Frume]] to find us. - We ask [[Faust Huxley]] to cast [[Sending]] to [[Ontharr Frume]] to see if they're legit. - Yes. They are a part of the [[Order of the Gauntlet]]. - [[Ontharr Frume]] wants to collaborate further to find a connection with the caravans, and a home base. - We decide to head to [[Teasci]] early so that we can talk with [[Enzo]] off the streets, and prep to meet with [[Evan Starhold]] and [[Tiana Starhold]].
