Fun! - [[Snowcat]] hails them, speaks [[60 Games/61 Tabletop/Dungeons & Dragons 5e/Details/Languages/Giant|Giant]]. - They respond "death awaits" » they bring the death - Fight! - A third, "Frost Giant Iceshaper" also appears. And then some winter wolves. - 21 doesn't hit Iceshaper - Much fighting. And then victory. - Estel spent the better part of the fight hurling fire, and hiding behind a rock. %% You know that these giants are not of the fey at all. Ancient legends tell of giants who roamed the lands long before man was here. Legend tells of a “Father of Giants” known by the people as The Catastrophist, who has been dormant under The Spine of the World (the mountain range in the dales if you’re unfamiliar). After Ythrin fell from the sky, the giants saw it as a sign from their father and have claimed Ythrin as their own. They are pseudo protectors, keeping people out, especially because of the thawing ice. If you examine the runes, you will feel a connection to Auril through ice magic. Cantrips are active if you didn’t all ready know that. But more importantly, the runes tell a story of resurrection through ice. You get the feeling that if you linger these giants may come alive again and/or more will come and you suggest finding a safe place to camp. %%
