### Starting notes:
- Elsa tucked away some of the dog's fur at the crime scene
## Notes
- We start with Charlie and Elsa
- They see a little girl, 9–10 and a little boy, 5–6. Huddled together with a blanket. They are street urchins.
- The girl steps in front and addresses Charlie. What do you want?
- Questions about what happened over in the alley? They saw something last night.
- Heard footsteps — a woman, walking "funny", looking behind her. Being followed.
- A man appeared from nowhere, kissed her neck, and she fell asleep.
- Eyes looked funny. Looked red.
- He just disappeared.
- Then there was a dark mist, and she was consumed by the mist. She was groaning… in pain?
- Then saw him again, kiss her neck again.
- Heard scratching on the roof.
- No dog seen.
- Man was really tall. Taller than Charlie, who is 6'-0".
- Elsa gives them a little money for a hot meal. Charlie hands them a half-eaten pie from his pocket. Awesome.
- Her name is Sophia, and Johann.
- She gives them her calling card (to her apartment, not [[Castle Gyllencreutz]]), saying she'll see what she can find for services for them… an orphanage? There must be something to help these children…
- Dr. Windell & Brodd
- Windell can tell she has been exsanguinated, and there are the two puncture on her neck.
- The doctor on site is [[Dr. Holmegrin]]. He's young, and shaken.
- Mr. Brodd notices Elsa is missing.
- He spots Elsa in the crowd a ways away, but not too far from Charles.
- He notices that people are starting to disperse, but are going towards something
- He smells bread. It smells pleasant. Even Mr. Brodd feels hungry from the smell.
- From a new bakery that has just opened. [[Petersen's Bakery]]
- Elsa notices a presence standing at the edge of the square. A man is observing Elsa, and the others.
- His arms are crossed. He has been standing there the entire time.
- When people line up for the bakery, he turns around to go to his own shop.
- Sign in the shaped like a pig. [[The Singing Pork Chop]].
- Right across from [[Petersen's Bakery]].
- The line at the bakery is very long.
- The bread is pretty plain looking, even though people are clamouring for it.
- Oh no. We left Dr. Windell by himself (with the police) in an alley with a corpse.
- Charlie is lurking by the crime scene at the end of the alley.
- Dr. Windell chats with [[Dr. Holmegrin]]
- Found the body this morning
- There had been another body the day prior, and the 25th… and 20th…
- Both agree with exsanguination.
- The women seem serene, no signs of struggle.
- All have been found in and around [[Vaksala Torg]]
- [[Dr. Holmegrin]] is just an assistant. [[Dr. Ephraim?]] is the pathologist.
- Dr. Windell gives him his business card.
- Dr. Windell's assistant is named [[Elias (Vaesen)|Elias]]
- Charles continues to wait at the end of the alley, to watch everything happening.
- Charles catches him up on the conversation with Sophia and Johann
- Kissed and mist…
- Charlie convinces Dr. Windell to buy him some bread instead of stealing the pie back from Johann
- Charlie makes Windell blush when talking about Elsa, and how she looks at him.
- They get into line… it may take two hours…
- Next to [[Petersen's Bakery]] is a French bakery called [[Un coin de paradis]]
- Charlie and Windell go to [[Un coin de paradis]]

- He looms over us both.
- Elsa does a terrible job at asking questions about the crime scene…
- Mr. Brodd buys some rabbit.
- He is very precise with the clever to cut up the rabbit.
- Talk about the deaths, and the crowd.
- Brodd introduces her as Lady Elsa Johannson
- The line outside of [[Petersen's Bakery]] is long. Wasn't like that before.
- [[Tor Petersen]], the owner, likes to drink a lot.
- His wife left because of the drink. She left Uppsala.
- Was about to be shut down a couple weeks ago, bankrupt.
- The butcher had to wait long in line five days ago to see the bakery
- He has a young man now running the business, popular with the ladies.
- Butcher thinks he may be local.
- Another baker at the back, not from here. Speaks in a heavy Slavic accent.
- Doesn't speak much.
- Is quite tall.
- Hair is black as night.

- The body… another migrant.
- Aware of the three other women.
- Butcher didn't know any of the women.

- No… Knows that some vagabond found large blood stains in the streets afterwards.
- Found in early hours by police
- Block before anyone can get word
- Clean up the crime scene early?
- Bodies found to be incinerated to prevent disease
- Asks about dogs. Not seen any around.
- 0 Success: He's truthful.
- He wraps the rabbit nicely in twine with a bow, and writes on the packaging.
- The writing matches the letter.
- [[Tor Petersen]] used to go down to a pub at the docks to drink regularly, but hasn't been seen recently.
- Pub: [[Black Kraken]].
- [[Tor Petersen]] is still seen at the bakery
- He scratches behind his neck as they leave.

- Mr. Brodd goes in to the building to talk with Sophia… and all of the children.
- Mr. Brodd questions the children first…
- Did anyone see the other attacks? The kids talk over each over, until Sophia calms them.
- They've all seen something, though not quite like what Sophia and Johann have seen
- The children will put on a puppet show for the group if they have a place to stay
- I think we've now got our own Baker Street Irregulars?
- Mr. Brodd takes Charlie's box of baked goods to give them to the children
- …Dr. Windell backs away with the small box
- Yes. We have our own Baker Street Irregulars. This is awesome.
- Mr. Brodd sends them off to go collect information.
