## Notes
- [[kailiblue|Kai]] couldn't make it because of work
- A song, a lament, that we can't understand the words
- [[Folklore]] rolls » all failed
- The song of the serpent
- The wyrm's lament
- Beach in Seahaven
- Seven brave knights who tried to kill it; no one who hasn't attacked it first has died
- A woman ministers to it each Saturday at noon; she appears out of no where
- Reminds of the first wife
- Wife had passed about 5 years prior (2 years of pilgramage for Lord Tywyn)
- Second course: lamprey
- People we've met
- Owain, Tywyn's squire
- The cook
- Nellwyn, a nursery maid
- Cynfarth, stablehand
- Dame Meredyth, head of watch
- Eiluned, Lady Alison's lady-in-waiting
- Darren, the troubador
- Another mournful sea song, instrumental
- Lady-in-waiting
- Has been present 2–3 years
- Her fashion is old-fashioned
- Has an ornate silver rod, "vulgar", ugly as part of her fashion
- Head of watch
- Conversation and combat with quarterstaff » Isolt bests Dame Meredyth
- The next day » we all roll [[Energetic]] so walk out into the village (it's Saturday)
- [[Sir Maddoc the Valorous]] notes it's not a dragon, but a sea serpent (no wings)
- Around the village
- Father Andrew Pius, chapel
- Fishing nets, gathering seaweed, gathering sea shells, gutting fish
- Lady soaking nettles
- [[Sir Maddoc the Valorous]] approaches Father Andrew Pius
- Conversation about the wyrm » leviathan from Book of Job (Job 41)
- [[Sir Maddoc the Valorous]] rolled a 20 when rolling a Spiritual trait check… Whoops.
- Trouble all started when Lord Tywyn remarried
- [[Sir Elias the Pleasant]] approaches Ronnat, the nettle woman
- She doesn't like Lady Allison… not a good influence, doesn't attend church or confession
- Her husband was a knight, slain in battle » a widow
- The wyrm dragon hums, other than Saturday afternoon when the strange lady appears and sings to it
- Reminds her of an older version of Maisr'y, Tywin's daughter
- [[Dame Isolt the Proud]] approaches Mairsile, a woman sells sea shells
- Mairsile loved a pedler who had moved along…
- Wyrm singing of their lost love too
- Leaves around sundown unless disturbed
- She disappears if someone approaches her
- Lady Allison is ready to send the knights out to our doom…
- We get prepared (armour)
- [[Sir Elias the Pleasant]] sets Jasper to watch for the woman
- Head over to the beach
- The wyrm sees us and takes a defensive posture
- We chill and wait
- [[Sir Elias the Pleasant]] and [[Dame Isolt the Proud]] suddenly see a woman standing beside the wyrm, wearing a tight, almost sequined dress (anachronistic, but shimmering) and is humming. She sits down beside the wyrm, laying it's head in her lap
- Isolt notices it looks like an older Maisr'y from the family portrait
- For [[Sir Maddoc the Valorous]], she didn't suddenly appear. It seems more like a machrel lept from the water and take human form on the beach
- Approach with [[Singing]]
- [[Dame Isolt the Proud]] gets a critical
- Woman disappears as we approach
- Jasper jumps into the water, and then comes back out
- The wyrm is cautious but not aggressive
- Conversation with the wyrm
- It nods yes, Lady Allison is a witch
- The wyrm is Morian, the machrel is Mais'ry
- Raewyn rolled a critical and then a success about folklore
- [[Dame Isolt the Proud]] sends Raewyn off to assist Eiluned, and get closer to the silver rod
- New plan:
- [[Dame Isolt the Proud]] engages Lady Allison as a distraction
- [[Sir Elias the Pleasant]] and [[Sir Maddoc the Valorous]] engage Lord Tywin, in hopes of bringing him to meet his son
- He hasn't heard from his children since his return
- Convinces Lord Tywin to come down to the beach
- A tear drips from the eye of the wyrm
- Something only Morian would know
- "Would Lady Corola wear red?" No.
- "How many swords in the armory have the family crest." Six gouges in the sand.
- Tywin is convinced the wyrm is his son, and Lady Allison is responsible, and gallops back up to the manor
- Door swings open, Tywin confronts Lady Allison
- Isolt tries tackling her, Lady Allison crits
- Lady Allison bolts
- Lady Alllison sics her dogs on Elias and Maddoc
- Isolt and Meredyth are both running after her, swords drawn
- Lady Alison is reaching into her bosom for the silver rod…
- Both Elias and Maddoc go to restrain Lady Alison
- Elias is able to restrain her
- Lady Alison is clutching her wand, and goes on offense
- Her hand is wrinkled and old for a moment
- She places a curse on Elias, and he suddenly feels tired and weary (next skill check is -5)
- Maddoc successfully grabs her wand, just as the wolf attacks… and missed
- Isolt defends against the wolves
- Tywin realizes Allison needs to be alive to turn his children back
- She has the wolves back down, and Meredyth has Alison bound
- Tywin demands she is brought to the sea shore
- At the shore, Allison transforms the wyrm back into Morian
- Lady Allison blows a horn, and fish jump onto the shoe… but Maisr'y says she'd rather be a fish, and jumps back into the water, not trusting Lady Allison
- Lady Allison is burned in a pyre
- Sir Maddoc and the priest say a prayer for her soul
