Contracted by wizards in the city of Winterhold. One of their fellow wizards went rogue and stole artifacts and materials. Ever since, a lot of undead sightings around the city and surrounding forest. Heldrian Slhandrik is the wizard we were trying to find.
Umara Stormwind
Level 3 Rogue
As I wake up… like waking from a dream. I can see two bodies on a morgue slab. I remember being swarmed by a lot of undead. I'm hovering on the ground
Glomagus 5'-5"
Jowan Josten "Jojo" 5'-9"
Umara 5'-1"
- Start in ethereal plane, and come to the material. Try pushing fabric off the faces, but they aren't anyone she recognizes… including herself.
- Rummages through the room on the desk. Lots of tools and chemicals.
- Finds a makeshift thieves tools.
- Starts floating through doors to the south.
- And goes north through rooms.
- Finds a corpse of our fighter, Selandra. Very dead.
- Fights a thing.
- Hasn't seen Morlak, the cleric.
- Glomagus finds his familiar, Igor, a hand, in the jars. After a couple of fighting hands.
- A mummy kills Glomagus, and then Umara boops him on the back of the head. It was Morlak. Whoops.
- Jojo investigates Morlak's body, and there's no symbols.
- Glomagus revives (nat20 on a death save).
- Umara finds their things in a room, and a nice cloak with a ring. It has one remaining wish spell.
- We go fight the wizard, Glomagus and Jojo get killed, and Umara goes ethereal.
- Basically, none of her abilities work and it's a TPK unless Umara goes ethereal.
- She sits on the desk and wishes that the bad guys die, and that her party comes back to life… but she wishes to remain ethereal.
- We… win? That's it. We won Dungeons & Dragons. Huzzah.
