This requires the free Obsidian plugin, [[Shortcut Launcher]] to work.
## Set up Shortcut Launcher action
**Command name:** Obsidian to OmniFocus
**Shortcut name:** Obsidian to OmniFocus
**Input Type:** Multiple
**Input Type #1:** Document Name
**Input Type #2:** Link to Document
**Input Type #3:** Selected Text
**Separator:** \%\%OSL\%\%
## Launch Shortcut
1. In Obsidian, have the note you want to create a task on open and active. Highlight the text you wish to copy into your OmniFocus note.
2. In the Command Palette (i.e. ⌘+P), search for the shortcut (Shortcut Launcher: Obsidian to OmniFocus). Select it.
3. Open OmniFocus. Your task, named after your note, is available in your inbox for you to process. The link back to the Obsidian note is in the Notes section.
